Ingredients
- 1/4 cup fresh or thawed frozen raspberries
- 1 small orange, peeled and wedged
- 1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
- 1–2 frozen ripe peaches (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1-inch piece ginger, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon camu camu powder
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder or extract
- Pinch of sea salt and ground black pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mash the raspberries until juicy.
- In a blender, combine orange wedges, carrot, frozen peaches, ginger, turmeric, camu camu powder (if using), vanilla, sea salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and water.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
- Pour one-third of the smoothie into a glass; top with one-third of the raspberry juice. Repeat layering with remaining smoothie and raspberry juice.
