  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 medium white onion (diced)
  • 4 cans pork and beans (14-ounce cans)
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from heat, chop into pieces, and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the diced onion until tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped bacon to the onions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Drain excess liquid from the pork and beans and combine them with the sauce mixture in the baking dish. Stir well.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Allow the baked beans to rest for about 20 minutes before serving.
