  • 1/2 cup cultured buttermilk
  • 2 cups diced peaches (skin on)
  • 1 tsp coarse sparkling sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly butter a 9×5 loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer, cream together dark brown sugar and unsalted butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in each egg one at a time until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cake flour, baking powder, salt, and spices. Gradually add this mixture to the creamed butter alternately with buttermilk.
  5. Gently fold in the diced peaches without over-mixing.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with sparkling sugar.
