  • 4 pounds baby back pork ribs
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (cracked)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the ribs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Mix seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, cumin) in a bowl and rub over the ribs with olive oil.
  4. Cover and bake for 2 hours.
  5. Combine barbecue sauce ingredients in a bowl during the last few minutes of cooking.
  6. Remove foil, spread sauce over ribs, then increase heat to 460°F (240°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Broil on medium-high heat for about 3 minutes for caramelization.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
