  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (reserve 1/2 for garnishment)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (cold)
  • 1/4 cup boiling hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (to dust top of cobbler)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a greased 9×13 baking dish, mix together frozen peaches, sugars, extracts, spices, and butter. Bake covered for 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine flour, sugars, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add boiling water and mix gently.
